The question, then, is never whether a song about love is warranted — it always is — but whether the artist making it has found something genuinely new to say, or at the very least, a sufficiently compelling way to say something familiar. With "Sailing Together," KOWIKAN — the Romanian artist and producer recording from his home studio in the Bihor region of Romania — makes a deeply persuasive argument that sincerity, when wielded with craft and care, remains the most powerful weapon in any musician's arsenal.

The Romanian electronic producer Claudiu-Gabriel Tache, operating under the moniker SLAPPER, has carved out a peculiar niche within the increasingly crowded synthwave landscape. Recently there was a celebration of Galactic Tick Day and on this occasion a group of Romanian artists and dancers called Thy Veils performed at at the festival of the same name on 9 September 2023. Under the leadership of producer Daniel Dorobanțu, who creates an incredible palette of electronic impulses, this amazing show was bursting with the hypnotic singing of Alira Mun, Maria Hojda and Francesca Hojda.

7th SENSE is the name of a Romanian jazz band that creates intense modern music full of experiments and creative explorations. Their debut album 'Light in Chaos' was released on June 16 and included 9 original tracks. Well-known musicians from Romania and Great Britain also took part in the recording of the album, which emphasized the significance and far-sightedness of the young team.
