This is not the work of someone who takes the ability to make music, or to feel joy, for granted.<\/span><\/p><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\"><br><\/span><p><span style=\"background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">The previous single *Smile, People Smile!* announced an artist reclaiming her voice with purpose. *We Want Funkey!* consolidates that return with greater confidence and considerably more swagger. With the album *Think Freedom* arriving in May 2026, Audren is clearly building towards something substantial \u2014 and if this single is any indication of the direction of travel, the destination will be well worth the wait.<\/span><\/p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\"><br><\/span><p><span style=\"background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(255, 255, 255);\">For now, though, turn it up. Let Malaman&#8217;s bass do what bass was invented to do.
